is recognized as an essential health professional in the modern health care.
Physical therapy encompasses
the scientific study of physical agents and human motion,
the exploration of growth, development, injury, dysfunction, or degeneration, and a life-long commitment to learning.
The scope of physical therapy includes, but not limited to
musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, pediatric, geriatric, sports, burn, obstetric and gynecologic, long term care, and community physical therapy.
A Medical Profession Combining Arts and Science
Physical therapists in Taiwan are medical professionals regulated and protected by the Law of Physical Therapy of the Republic of China.
